Qualcomm has launched its new processor “Snapdragon 821”. According to its developers, Qualcomm new SOC (System On Chip) is bringing with it improvements on speed, performance and power consumption. The new processor offers a speed of 2.4 GHz instead of 2.1 GHz, which signifies that the new processor is 10% faster than its little brother “snapdragon 820”
Qualcomm said that its Snapdragon 821 operates four powerful Kryo cores that can be clocked up to 2.4GHz. Qualcomm argues also, the new SOC Snapdragon 821 will not replace his little brother S820, but it will remain as a choice for phone manufactures to weather use it or not.

Noteworthy that the processor manufacture company asserted that SOC 821 has been developed to resist against the problems that S820 faced.
We can’t talk about the new system on chip SOC S821 without mentioning some of its powerful features. First one, the 821 600mbps X12 LTE Modem. Second one, Uploading and downloading data in an outstanding fast speeds. Third feature is related to voice clarity; S821 comes with huge improvement in voice clarity. The last one has to do with battery life; SOC is supposed to give more power battery life and app performance.
Qualcomm believes that “The 821 is designed to complement and extend the competitive strengths of its current tech, it will work as an interim chip for certain upcoming high end devices until the next Gen processor is released”
Concerning “Snapdragon 821” usage, the company assures that “ You can expect commercial devices powered by 821 in the third quarter of 2016 and it will also be used for mobile VR headsets and several other upcoming devices”
